DocStudio AI
End-User Licence Agreement
Effective: 24 July 2026
1. Who provides the software
DocStudio AI is developed and licensed by Luis (Alois) Zoeggeler, trading under the name Lou Vrai, Stelzhamerstraße 4, 4713 Gallspach, Austria (“we”, “us”). Contact: [email protected].
2. Licence grant
After full payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use DocStudio AI on up to three computers that you own or control. The licence is a one-time purchase and has no recurring licence fee. It is tied to you, not permanently to one device, so you may move an activation when you replace a computer.
3. Activation and offline use
An internet connection is required for the initial activation on each computer. A successful activation creates a digitally signed local entitlement. The software can then continue to operate offline without periodic licence checks. Features that use external AI providers, online services or user-supplied API keys naturally require the corresponding internet connection and remain subject to those providers’ terms.
4. Trial
The free trial lasts seven days from first activation on an installation. It may be started once per installation. At the end of the trial, a full licence is required to continue using the application.
5. What “lifetime licence” means
A lifetime licence means that you may continue using the purchased version for as long as it remains technically compatible with your computer and operating system. It does not promise that every future major edition, third-party online service or paid add-on will be supplied free of charge forever. Maintenance updates that we make generally available for the purchased edition are included.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of documents, images, recordings and other content you create or open in DocStudio AI. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to that content and for keeping suitable backups. We do not acquire ownership of your work.
7. Restrictions
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, publish or share your licence key; circumvent the activation limit; distribute modified copies of the application; or reverse engineer the software except where applicable law expressly permits it. One licence is intended for one person or one organisation’s authorised user, on no more than three active computers.
8. Updates and third-party components
DocStudio AI includes third-party open-source components governed by their respective licences. We may provide updates to improve reliability, compatibility or security. Operating-system changes and external service changes can affect individual features.
9. Warranty and liability
We aim to provide reliable software, but no complex application can be guaranteed to be completely error-free or suitable for every particular purpose. Nothing in this agreement excludes mandatory statutory warranty, consumer-protection or liability rights. Subject to those mandatory rights, liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10. Ending the licence
The licence ends if you materially breach these terms, for example by publishing or reselling the key. If a transaction is refunded or reversed, the corresponding licence may be deactivated and you must stop using the software. Terms that by their nature should continue will survive termination.
11. Consumer rights and governing law
Austrian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Statutory withdrawal, conformity, warranty and remedy rights remain unaffected. Our refund and withdrawal information forms part of the purchase information.
12. Entire agreement
These terms, together with the purchase information and applicable mandatory law, govern your use of DocStudio AI. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
